Rosecut Pear Molten Solitaire

This pear shaped rosecut sapphire rests in a pool of flowing gold that parts around the gem like a river around a stone. Streaks of blue wash throughout a yellow sapphire creating waves of green/blue throughout.

Rose cutting creates a very wearable gem, as it involves faceting little polished triangles across the surface of the sapphire with the back polished flat so the ring has a low profile. This technique was also historically popular as rose cut gems are very sparkly even in low light!

Each piece is carved by hand here in studio, making for singular and unique pieces.
Cast using the ancient “lost wax" method, our pieces are entirely handmade and produced in England.
