Blue Sapphire Horizontal Bezel Ring

This marvellous semifaceted sapphire has a base of pale green with two dusty blue peaks reaching toward the centre of the stone. Resting cloud like in a bezel setting atop a softly squared sculptural band, this is a distinctive and eye catching ring in 14 karat Yellow Gold. 

The sapphire is unheated and untreated and 3.1 carats sourced from Queensland, Australia. Its edges are rough and it has been polished in parallel facets with a few additional facets added to one side for a bit of extra sparkle.
