Semifaceted Sapphire

A beautiful blend of rough + refined. We added three flat facets (polished surfaces) to the top half of this rough Australian Sapphire, leaving the sides and back of the stone in its rough and rocky state. The facets create a window into the stone, allowing the vibrant blue and rocky terrain to shine through the surface. 

The sapphire is held by a mixture of claws and molten gold at its natural corners that descend into an organically textured band in 100% recycled 9 karat Yellow Gold.

- 1.67 carat Sapphire is 7.29 x 7.48 mm, and was responsibly mined in Central Queensland, Australia.  It is unheated and untreated.
