Australian Oval Sapphire 6 Prong Solitaire

A wonderfully saturated and unique precision cut sapphire with a star like faceting pattern and open octagonal culet.  An antique inspired cut more commonly found in diamonds. 

Six angular talon like prongs, compressed at opposing compass points wrap up and over the sapphire from below the sculpted basket. Striking and distinct parti colour zones move through the sapphire and across the band to give this ring movement in along all four axis and intrigue from every angle. 

This bold and elegant sapphire solitaire offers fully known origin for all materials, from its 18 karat Fairmined gold band responsibly mined in in Iquira, Columbia to its incredibly special precision cut Australian sapphire, and carved by hand here in England, making for truly singular and unique jewellery.  

Each piece is carved by hand here in studio, making for singular and one of a kind pieces. Cast using the ancient "lost wax" method, our pieces are entirely handmade and produced in the UK.
